She was 40. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Wednesday, Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. until service in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Carl Rushing. Survived by her parents, Charlie Shelton Hay Sr. and Myrtle Eudora Matthews Hay; three beautiful daughters, Raynie Renee, Stormie Marie and Summer Michelle Fugler; two stepsons, Christopher Dale and Brian Emerson Fugler; a step- daughter, Dana Nichole Sanders; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Denise and Robbie Martin, Joyce Montgomery, and Sherie Lynn and Chris Guillory; a brother and sister-in-law, Charlie Shelton Jr. and Amy Hay; granddaughter, Kourtney Sanders; grandson, Jaden Christopher Fugler; and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Levi Milton and Catherine Shea Matthews; and paternal grandparents, Curtis B. and Lelia Bernice Johnson Hay. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family to help with expenses. ******************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Hammond Daily Star on: 10/18/2002 FUGLER, MICHAEL CRAIG Greensburg - Michael Craig Fugler, 53, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002, at Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center in Independence. He was a native of Greensburg and a welder/boilermaker. Survivors include one son, David Lane Fugler of Denham Springs; a daughter, Sarah DeAnn Fugler Motichek of Maurepas; a stepsister, Clara Mae Holmes of Springfield; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Allen Fuger Sr. and Sarah Anna Strickland Fugler; a brother, Robert Preston Fugler; and a stepbrother, Roy Allen Fugler Jr. Visitation will be Saturday at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 9 a.m. until the Rev. William Sewell conducts the funeral at 11. Burial will be in Greensburg Cemetery. ******************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Hammond Daily Star on: 5/27/2002 FUGLER, SARA ANNA STRICKLAND Greensburg - Sara Anna Strickland Fugler, 72, died Sunday, May 26, 2002, in an automobile accident. She was a native and resident of Greensburg and retired secretary treasurer for the St. Helena Parish Police Jury. She was an organizer of the Southeast Spouse Abuse Program for the parish. She was a past president of the Louisiana Secretary-Treasurer organization from 1977 to 1988 and president of the United Methodist Women. She was the lay delegate to the annual Methodist Conference and the Methodist General Conference. Survivors include a son, Michael Craig Fugler, Greensburg; a sister, Betty Jean Strickland Catalanotto, Roseland; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation is today at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday at the Greensburg United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. until the funeral at 11 a.m. The Rev.
