FURCA, KENNETH PAUL
Kenneth Paul Furca, age 53, a native and lifelong resident of Hammond, died
Monday, April 23, 2007, while undergoing treatment for lymphoma. Kenneth
was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond A. Furca and Lucille O.
Starkey Furca; and his sisters, Doris Blahut and Jimmie Prokop. He is
survived by his wife of 26 years, Mrs. Rosemary Puma Furca; his son,
Kenneth Brennan Furca; his daughter, Brittney Ray Furca; his brother,
Raymond Furca; four sisters, Catherine Pittman and Lottie Keleher, both of
Mobile, Ala., Carolyn Kleinpeter of Chadds Ford, Pa., and Jane Aswell of
Wake Forrest, N.C. Kenneth was a graduate of Hammond High School and
Southeastern Louisiana University. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta
fraternity. Kenneth was employed as a manager at Himel Auto Parts in
Hammond for more than 25 years. During the last 10 years, Kenneth had
worked as a manager at Dixie RV in Hammond. Visitation at Harry McKneely &
Son Funeral Home, Hammond, on Saturday, April 28, from 9 a.m. until funeral
service at noon. Interment will be in Rose Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Cutaneous Lymphoma
Foundation, P.O. Box 374, Birmingham, MI 48102-0374.
