She was 69 and a retired intake specialist with the Tangipahoa Parish school system. Visitation at Roscoe Mortuary, 58635 Miriam St., Plaquemine, on Friday, Aug. 5, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wake service at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. G. Coates officiating. Religious service at the church at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6. Interment in Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Jessie leaves to cherish her fond memory two loving sons, James Patrick Gales and Reginald Gales Sr. and wife Leisha, all of Plaquemine; 11 grandchildren, Reginald Gales Jr., Jeremy Gales, Marcus Hamilton, Sheldon Gales, Patrick Gales and Tonneisha Jackson, all of Plaquemine, Jasmin Briley, Reginae Ray and Reggie Ray, all of White Castle, Vivian Gales Hill of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Lashawn Gales of Dallas; two sisters, Frances Smith, Dorseyville, and Janice Darensbourg, Norco; a stepbrother, Alfred Sanders, New Orleans; a devoted niece and nephew, Sheryl Mellion and Donald Dandridge; a devoted neighbor, Arthur Braxton; two devoted friends, Deborah Walker and Loranza Solite; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. ***************************************************************************
