GALEY, GENEVA BERTEAU    
A resident and native of Ponchatoula, she died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at North 
Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. She was 77. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son 
Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday. Religious 
service at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula, at 11 a.m. Saturday. 
Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery. Survived by a son, Paul Galey, Covington; a 
daughter, Vickie Galey, Reno, Nev.; four grandchildren and three great-grand-
children; and a sister, Sharon McCrory, Mandeville. Preceded in death by her 
parents, Troy and Lillian Parent Berteau; two sisters, Juanita Kiss and Jeanette 
Fridge; and a brother, Stribling Berteau.
