She was a native of Purvis, Miss. She is survived by her husband, Norman Harry Gallaher Sr.; three daughters, Sandra Gildea of Franklin, N.J., Brenda Gallaher of Salt Lake City and Karen Bell of Hammond; five sons, Norman Gallaher Jr. of Salt Lake City, Jesse Gallaher of Lakeland, Fla., Frank Gallaher of Vancouver, Wash., Charles "Bud" Cagle of Florence, Miss., and Eric Cagle of Purvis, Miss.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse James Franklin and Barcie Mae Sims Freeman. Visitation will be Wednesday at Westchurch Church of Christ in Hammond, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until Michael Roberts conducts the funeral at 11. Norman Harry Gallaher Sr., 86, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at Belle Maison Nursing Home. He was a native of New Jersey and served as an aviation cadet for the Army Air Corps. He is survived by three daughters, Sandra Gildea of Franklin, N.J., Brenda Gallaher of Salt Lake City and Karen Bell of Hammond; five sons, Norman Gallaher Jr. of Richmond, Va., Jesse Gallaher of Lakeland, Fla., Frank Gallaher of Vancouver, Wash., Charles "Bud" Cagle of Florence, Miss., and Eric Cagle of Purvis, Miss.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Laverne Gallaher; his parents, Norman Edward and Elsie Mae Smith Gallaher; and one sister, Francis Gallaher. Visitation will be Saturday at Westchurch Church of Christ from 9 a.m. until the Rev. John Bell conducts the funeral at 11.
