GANT, PERCY
C. R. Cooper, 17; Robert Byrd Cooper, 53, his father; Percy Gant, 27, son-in-law 
of elder Cooper, and son of Bob Gant of Mississippi; all three died [before 14 
Dec] in Amite when their truck collided with a train.  The elder Mr. Cooper had 
a stock farm at Loranger.  Interment in Briarpatch cemetery of the Chappapeela 
community was Wednesday.  Surviving Mr. Cooper, the son and the son-in-law are 
the elders wife, Mrs. Lizzie Neal Cooper and children, Calvin, Dwight, T., H., 
Robert, Jr., James Edwin, Thomas Cooper and Mrs. Thelma Gant, the wife of Percy.  
The Gant family had two small children.
