GARAUDY, CONNIE ANN HEBERT
Connie Ann Hebert Garaudy, 72 years old of Ponchatoula, passed away 
Thursday, May 31, 2012, at her daughter's residence.  She was born on 
Thursday, March 7, 1940, in Ponchatoula.  Surviving are her 6 daughters, 
Mary G. Hoover, Claire G. Applin, Linette G. Wylie, Michelle G. Nelson, 
Dawn G. McHugh, and Hope L. Garaudy; 6 sons, William F. Garaudy, Phillip C. 
Garaudy, Sidney E. Garaudy, Cecil J. Garaudy, James F. Garaudy, and Andrew 
H. Garaudy; 20 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Vera Ragan, Estelle Beauchamp, and 
Bonnie Brooks; 2 brothers, Thomas Hebert and Albert Hebert.  She is 
preceded in death by her husband, Francis William Garaudy; parents, 
Clara Annette Rottman and Cecil Hebert; 2 brothers, Cecil J. Hebert and 
Douglas Hebert; and sister, Goldie Hebert.  Friends will be received at 
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, Friday, June 1, 2012, 
from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday at the 
funeral home from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will 
be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula, Saturday, June 2, 2012, at 
10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery.  An on-line

GARAUDY, FRANCIS WILLIAM
A resident and native of Ponchatoula, he died Friday, March 5,
2004, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond.  He was 77.  
Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula,
from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday with recitation of the rosary at
7 p.m.  Religious service at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 
Ponchatoula, at 2 p.m. Monday.  Interment in Ponchatoula
Cemetery.  Survived by his wife, Connie Hebert Garaudy,
Ponchatoula; six daughters, Mary G. Hoover, Ponchatoula, Claire
G. Applin, Columbus, Ohio, Linette G. Wylie, Ponchatoula,
Michelle G. Nelson, Dallas, and Dawn G. McHugh and Hope L. 
Garaudy, both of Ponchatoula; six sons, William F. Garaudy,
Ponchatoula, Phillip C. Garaudy, Jackson, Miss., Sidney E.
Garaudy, Loranger, Cecil J. Garaudy, Denham Springs, and James F.
Garaudy and Andrew H. Garaudy, both of Ponchatoula; 16 grand-
children; and a brother, Claude L. Garaudy, Kenner.  Preceded in
death by his parents, Sidney H. and Lelia Langlois Garaudy; four
brothers, Sidney, Eugene, Ellis and Edward J. Garaudy; and a 
sister, Sylvia G. McCrory.
