M Industries of Ponchatoula, were at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, from St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial was in all Saints Mausoleum in Lakelawn. Mr. Gaudet died Friday, Dec. 31, at his residence in Ponchatoula. He was a New Orleans native and resident of Ponchatoula for the past two years. Mr. Gaudet moved to Chicago in 1957 to form the company Enesco Imports, serving as vice president for 24 years. He returned in 1981 to J & M Industries in New Orleans where he worked with his brothers. He was a member of the Southern Yacht Club and was an avid racing sailor. He won many regattas, including the 1986 LPRC and Boat of the Year in Chicago in 1978 and 1979.
