He was 77, a native of Slidell and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, and Holden. Mr. Gauley was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by three daughters, Barbara Gauley, New Orleans, Glynda Gauley Hurm, Destrehan, and Berma Gauley, Springfield; two sons, Stacy Gauley, Covington, and Robert Gauley, Hammond; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lolly Henry, Sandra Carona and Brenda Randle, all of Slidell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Leah Terral Gauley; parents, George and Myrtle Cocran Gauley; daughter, Mary Aileen Gauley; brother, Bink Gauley; and two sisters, Frances Sansone and Iris Garcia. Visitation at Geisler Funeral Home, Albany, on Friday, July 22, from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Slidell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Geisler Funeral Home, 300 S.
