He was 59 and a native of South Bridge, Mass. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, with a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home, 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at Holy Ghost Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by a Dominican priest. Entombment in Rose Memorial Mausoleum. Survived by wife, Jennie Alack Gaumond, Hammond; and three brothers, Harvey Gaumond, Montgomery, Ala.; Ronald Gaumond and Lionel Gaumond, both of South Bridge.
