GAUT, RONALD WAYNE 
Ronald Wayne Gaut was born Aug. 6, 1940, in Oneonta, Ala., and left this
life for a better one on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Baton Rouge. He was
preceded in death by his father, Arlie Dow Gaut; his mother, Pearl Pendley
Gaut Swindle; and loving stepfather, F.L. Swindle. Ron served proudly in
the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Kentwood High School, attended David
Lipscomb University and graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Ron retired from the Louisiana Department of Social Services in 2000. He is
survived by his sister, Barbara Gaut Graham, Baton Rouge; brother, Gary E.
Gaut and his wife, Kaye, San Antonio; sister, Gail Swindle Ragusa and her
husband, Michael, Independence; and a large extended family. Visitation at
McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, on Friday, March 23, from 9 a.m. until
funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood.
