GEARHART, HOWARD SR. 
Howard Gearhart Sr., 80, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at Hammond Nursing Home. 
He is survived by two daughters, Michelina Schossow of Des Moines, Iowa, and Ann 
Dru Marler of Baton Rouge; one son, Howard Gearhart Jr. of Albany; two sisters, 
Dorothy Johnson of Oregon and Lois Wohlner of Los Angeles; seven grandchildren 
and two great-grandchildren. The Rev. Samuel Richardson conducted the funeral 
Monday. Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, was in charge.
