GEDER, JOSEPH L.
A native of Mt. Hermon, La. and resident of the village of Tangipahoa, La., 
he passed away Aug. 16, 2013 at the Baton Rouge General. He was 76. 
Visitation Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Richardson 
funeral Home, Amite. Funeral service Friday, Aug. 23, 2013 at 1 p.m. at 
Gaines Chapel AME Church, Tangipahoa, La. Burial will be in Crystal Springs 
Cemetery, Mt. Hermon. Survivors include his wife, Delores Thomas Geder; and 
two sons, Jason Geder and Joseph Thomas. Arrangements by Richardson Funeral 
Home, Amite.

GEDER, SELMA
Tangipahoa -- Selma Geder, 75, a native of Franklinton, died Wednesday,
Nov. 24, 2004, at his home.  Survivors include four daughters, five sons, a
sister, Josie Thomas of Tangipahoa; and a brother, Joseph Geder of Baton
Rouge.  His parents, the Rev. Harrison and Lucy Geder, preceded him in
death as did four sisters, five brothers, a daughter and a son.  Visitation
was Sunday at Angelic Funeral Home, Roseland. The Rev. Mack Hurst conducted
the funeral today, and burial was at Crystal Springs Cemetery, Mt. Hermon.

GEDER, SIMON
The husband of Dorothy Robertson Geder, he departed this life Thursday, April 19, 
2001, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Covington. He was 67 and a resident of 
Tangipahoa. Visiting from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at MJR Friendly Service 
Funeral Home Inc., 7803 Florida Blvd., Denham Springs. Religious services at 
11 a.m. Thursday at Matthew Chapel AME Church, off La. 10, Greensburg, the Rev. 
Marvin Schaffer Sr., pastor. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery.
