Mrs. Gehegan was born on October 8, 1931 in Springfield, LA to the union of Jack Elmer and Pearly Dee Gehegan and departed from this life on Monday November 18, 2013 at North Oaks Medical Center. She was a resident of Livingston Parish; a caregiver; she enjoyed playing cards and games; had a passion for gardening and cooking for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; children Jessie Hill and Lorraine Hill; siblings Herman "Man" Hill and David Gehegan; son-in-law Jack White. Survivors include her children Vernice White, Betty Jean Hill Durbec, Wayne Hill and wife Mary; daughter-in-law Joycelynn Hill; siblings Elmer Ray Gehegan, Earl, Pete, Raymond, Jerry, Hazel, Mary, Norvie, Linda, Tarrie, Joann, Pauline, Francis, Christine and Barbra; also survived by 34 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews.
