GENTRY, TROY LEON
Troy Leon Gentry was born Thursday, March 19, 1942, and died Tuesday, 
February 12, 2013 at the age of 70 years, 10 months, and 21 days. He was 
born in Shook, Missouri, and lived in Loranger, Louisiana, for almost 38 
years preceding his death. Surviving are his wife of almost 53 years, 
Sharlot Christine Masters Gentry, two sons & daughters-in-law, Darren and 
Cindy Gentry, Brent and Marita Gentry, daughter & son-in-law, Tammy and 
Michael Williamson, daughter, Amy Gentry, two grandsons, Patrick Gentry, 
Jared Williamson and his wife Andrea, four granddaughters, JeneŽ Doolittle 
and her husband Dion, Jana Whitson and her husband Warren, April Gentry, 
Krista Gentry, five great-grandsons, Brayden, Blake, and Alex Doolittle, 
Landon and Blaine Whitson, sister and brother-in-law, Eula and John 
Sherrill, and a brother & sister-in-law, Eddie and Donna Gentry. He is 
preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dollie Gentry, an infant son, 
Clifton Levi Gentry, two sisters, Cassie Gentry, Hassie Palmer, and a 
brother, Loy Gentry. Friends will be received on Thursday, February 14, 
2013, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday, February 15, 
2013, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home 
in Hammond. Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel in Hammond, on 
Friday, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Church of God 
Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana. An online guest book is available at
