She was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister & aunt. Although her light has faded the glow of her love will last forever. Mrs. Gerarve was born on July 22, 1928, in Independence, daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Latina Vicaro. Surviving are 2 sons & daughters-in- law, Frank & Anita Gerarve and Ben & Vickie Gerarve; 5 daughters & sons- in-law, Jean & Joe Pellichino, May & Richard Stilley, Liz & Henry Rayborn, JoAnn & Sal Mike and Laura & Mark Richardson;15 grandchildren Stephanie, Brian, Chad, Richard, Josh, Aron, Alex, Alicia, B.J. ,Megan, Chelsey, Alexis, Mary Abby, Preston & Jake; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Johnny & Joe Vicaro; 3 sisters JoAnn Lay, Rose Lamonica, & Josie Fontana and numerous nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by husband, Alex Gerarve, brother, Tom Vicaro & 3 sisters Evelyn Latino, Sarah Mashon & Frances Cali. Friends will be received Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 10:00 am until Mass begins at 1:00 pm at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery Hammond, Louisiana.
