Deland, FL. -- Leon Anthony "Tony" Geromanos Jr., 84, died Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, at his home. A native of Carteret, N.J., he was a retired captain for the U. S. Army for 21 years. He served in World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart and two Bronze Star Medals. He was parts manager for Bill Holler Chevrolet and the manager for DeLand Auto Parts. He was a member of the 503rd Parachute Regimental Combat Team Association, Louisiana Coastal Conservation Association and First United Methodist Church of DeLand. Survivors include two sons, Michael Geromanos of DeLand and George Geromanos of Ponchatoula; a daughter, Nancy McGregor of DeLand; a brother, Thomas Geromanos of Deland; and two grandsons. His wife of 46 years, Priscilla H. Geromanos, preceded him in death. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flager, 3800 Woodbrian Trail, Port Orange, FL 21129 or a charity of one's choice.
