She was born on Aug. 13, 1912, in Franklinton. Visitation at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, Hammond, from 10 a.m. Wednesday until religious services at 11 a.m. Burial in church cemetery. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert Marshall and Gail Annison Corbin; two grandchildren, Cherie Corbin Jenkins and husband Reggie D. Jenkins II, and Robert M. Corbin II; and two great-grandchildren, Alex Cade and Trevor Jenkins. Preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, the Rev. Howard S. Giere, who was from Hammond; her first husband, Dr. Robert Adwood Corbin III, who was from Hammond; her son, Robert Adwood IV, who was from Hammond; parents, Marshal Amacker and Fanny Penney Brumfield; and a brother, John Brumfield, who was from Bogalusa. Pallbearers will be Robert Corbin II, Reggie D. Jenkins II, Thomas W. Annison, Raymond Pierce, Jay Carter and J. Montgomery Burlingame. She was a member of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church in Hammond. ********************************************************************************
