GILLIS, DORTHIE JANE
Dorthie Jane Gillis, 63 years old of Springfield, LA, died Tuesday,
February 2, 2010, in North Oaks Medical Center.  She was born on Friday,
August 2, 1946, in Nettelton MS.  Surviving are husband of 39 years, Gerald
Dwight Gillis; son & daughter-in-law, Franklin Dwayne Gillis and Kelly
Gillis; daughter & son-in-law, Tania Gillis Russell and Sevin Russell;
grandchildren, Brittany Gillis, Dylan Lawson, Gage, Paris, Zarah and Wiley
Russell; brothers, Jack, Cecil, Ruble and Billy Gray; sisters, Opel Moore
and Jean logan.  She is preceded in death by parents, Romie Gray and Iola
Guyton Gray; brothers, George and Gene Lee Gray.  Friends will be received
Saturday, February 6, 2010, at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in
Ponchatoula, from 9:00a.m. until services.  Services will be held in the
funeral home chapel Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 1:00p.m., with father
Peter Nugent officiating.  Interment will follow in the Springfield
Cemetery, Springfield, LA 70462.  An on-line guest book is available at
