Goad of Bowling Green, Kentucky, died at his home, January 19, 2005. He was a native of Scottsville, Ky. Goad was the District Attorney for the 8th judicial circuit in Allen and Warren counties, Kentucky; chairman of the Kentucky Workman's Compensation Board for eight years; Circuit judge for the 49th judicial circuit from 1970-1984; and administrative judge for the Green River District. He was a 1938 graduate of University of Missouri and received his juris doctor from University of Louisville Law School. He was a World War II Army veteran and a graduate of Counter Intelligence School, Fort Mead, Md. He served as a Special Agent Army Intelligence Sixth Service Comm., Chicago and Detroit; and as a special agent during the Organization Conference of the United Nations in San Francisco in 1945. Survivors include his wife, Pat Howell Goad; a daughter, Margaret Goad Hawkins, Ponchatoula; two sons, Warren Hutchins Goad, Marion, Ky., and Frand R. Goad III, Lexinton, Ky.; a brother, Robert S. Goad, Gainesville, Florida; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was born Thursday, August 17, 1922 in Tazwell, West Virginia, daughter of the late George and Leia Davidson. Surviving are her 2 daughters, Mary J. Adams, Nancy P. Jacobsen; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and 6 brothers and sisters. She is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Eugene Goad Sr. and her son, Otis ³Buddy² Goad Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. ***************************************************************************
