GOBERT, SADIE MARIE
Funeral service will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas on
Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at 11 a.m. for Sadie Marie Gobert, 62, who died at
8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, in Houston. Interment in Bellevue Memorial Park
in Opelousas. The Rev. Jaison Mangalath, S.V.D., pastor, will officiate the
services. Survivors include her husband, Gene Louis Gobert, of Baton Rouge;
a son, Jeffrey Louis and spouse Yona Gobert, of Hammond; two daughters,
Tonia Denise Bush, of Channelview, Texas, and Stephanie Maria Gobert, of
Silver Springs, Md.; three brothers, Louis and spouse Mary Louise Darjean,
of Beaumont, Texas, Alex and spouse Jeannie Darjean, of Opelousas, and
Michael and spouse Virginia Darjean, of Houston; two sisters, Alice and
spouse Joshua Pitre, of Opelousas, and Melina and spouse Paul Shelton
Bellard, of Crosby, Texas; three grandchildren, and a host of other
relatives and friends. Mrs. Gobert was preceded in death by her parents,
Linus and Alice Semien Darjeanl, and a daughter, Tammy Denise Gobert.
Visiting hours observed at Williams Funeral Home of Opelousas on Saturday
