GOFF, JANE ALICE
A resident of Osyka, Miss., she died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1999, at
Southwest Regional Medical Center, McComb, Miss. She was 55 and a native of
Independence. Visiting was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 5 p.m. to
10 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel from 11 a.m. until
religious services at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Earl Warren. 
Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Springs. Survived by a
daughter, Joyce Shelton, Osyka; a stepdaughter, Gloria Cline, Baton Rouge;
two sons, William Cranfield III, Denham Springs, and Ronald "Reno"
Turbeville, Osyka; three sisters, Marie Zapata, Denham Springs, Ruby
Boudreaux, Walker, and Ruby Inez Avants, Holden; two brothers, Harry
Clayton, Denham Springs, and Richard Clayton, Port Allen; four grand-
children, Jenna Shelton, John "Bubba" Shelton, Brandi Turbeville and Dustin
Turbeville; three stepgrandchildren; a stepgreat-grandchild; and a special
friend, James Callander. Special thanks to her caregivers, Norman Sandifer,
Frances Turbeville and Hilda Dickerson. Preceded in death by her husband, 
J.M. "Red" Goff; father, Johnnie Clayton; mother, Daisy Clayton Halford; a
sister, Johnnie Edwards; and a brother, Ray Clayton. Pallbearers will be
Richard Boudreaux, Michael Graham, Curtis Greenley, Donald "Duck" Stewart,
Thomas Turbeville and Domingo Zapata. Honorary pallbearer is Jason
Turbeville. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Osyka.
