GOGARTY, MELVIN FRANK JR. 
Greensburg - Melvin Frank Gogarty Jr., 61, died Thursday, Feb. 14, at North
Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was a native of New Orleans and a retired
shoe repairman. He is survived by two daughters, Laura Shilling of
Shreveport and Debra Simoneaux of New Orleans; one son, Brian Gogarty of
New Orleans; one stepdaughter, Ivory Chesnut of Grangeville; one stepson,
Louis Doulamis of Baton Rouge; and three grandchildren.  Visitation will be
Saturday at Grangeville Baptist Church from 1 p.m. until the funeral at 3.
Burial will be in Grangeville Cemetery. McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, is in
charge.
