Calvary Baptist Church, she is survived by her husband, Gary Thomas Goings of Albany; two daughters, Amanda Addison and Kodie Goings, both of Albany; two sons, Matthew Goings of Albany, and Shawn Goings of Colyell; her parents, Homer and Mary Ann Jones of Albany; her paternal grandmother, Willie Jones of Albany; her maternal grandmother, Lena Lavoie of Middleton, Mass; one sister, Cheryl Reeves of Amite; and one brother, William Jones of Fort Bragg. He was 88, born Oct. 13, 1922, in Mount Hermon. Mr. Goings was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a retired iron worker from Nicholls Construction and a member of Masonic Lodge 248 in Kentwood. He is survived by his four grandchildren, Stephanie Goings Kliebert and husband Paul, Clay Goings and wife Lisa, and Chris Goings and wife Tiffany, all of Hammond, and Jon Goings and wife Amanda, Robert; daughter-in-law, Virginia Goings, of Hammond; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Frances McLain and husband Jim, Hammond. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie Melven Goings; two sons, Wenous Clayton Goings Jr. and Billie Ray Goings; parents, Willie and Lizzie Goings; sister, Wilcie Dick; and brother, Shelby Goings.
