GOODEN, GREGORY JR.
Gregory Gooden Jr., 1, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, at North Oaks Medical
Center.  Survivors include his parents, Gregory Gooden Sr. and Martha
Brown; grandparent, Pinkie Gooden; two sisters, Sheinika McMorris and
Chanonda Brown; and brother, Voniel Brown.  Visitation will be at N.A.
James Funeral Home, Hammond, today from 3 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be
held Saturday at 11 a.m., and burial will be in Bogalusa Cemetery.

GOODEN, HENRY LEE
Henry Lee "Bubba" Gooden, 47, died at his home Sunday, March 4, 2001. He
was a native of Covington. He is survived by three sisters, Elnora Camel
Sippio, Pinkey L. Gooden and Arlene Gooden; and one brother, Robert James
Jones Jr. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carneuias James Jones;
his wife, Mary Gooden; two sisters, Norreen Hall and Junlean Coleman; and a
stepfather, Robert J. Jones Sr. Visitation will be today from 1 to 3 p.m.
at N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond. The Rev. Larry Cross and Mallory
Callahan will conduct the funeral Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Missionary
Baptist Church, Hammond. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery, Covington.

GOODEN, LEOLA WOODS
Leola Woods Gooden, 87, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, at her home. She is
survived by her daughter, Aneice Norman of Hammond; a sister, Elve
Brumfield of Springfield; two brothers, Curtis Woods of Hammond and Eugene
Woods Sr. of New Orleans.  Visitation will be today at MJR Friendly Service
Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 2 to 7 p.m. The family visitation will
be from 6 to 7 p.m. Mr. Russell Watkins will conduct the funeral Friday at
Saints United Church of God In Christ, Hammond, at 11 a.m. Burial will be
in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond.
