SR. A resident of Loranger, he died at 10:54 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000, at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans. He was 51 and a native of Amite. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment in Briar Patch Cemetery, Loranger. Survived by his wife, Deloris Pierre Goodrich, Loranger; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Avery Rohner, Amite; a son and daughter-in-law, Clifford Jr. and Karen Goodrich, Loranger; two grandchildren, Megan Rohner and Koby Sam Goodrich; his mother, Eunice Neal Goodrich, Loranger; and two sisters, Marie Anthony, Loranger, and Mary Drew, Independence. She was born April 19, 1922, in Independence. Surviving are her daughters, Marie Anthony and husband Hezzie, and Mary Drew; daughter-in-law, Deloris Goodrich; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Clifford Goodrich, Sr; husband, Samuel Rye Goodrich; parents, Daniel M. and Inez Lewis Neal; six sisters, Finis Benedict, Ollie Lewis, Pearlie Coleman, Lucy Cutrer, Francis Anthony, Evy Anthony; and eight brothers, Castle, Simpson, Robert, William, Frank, Daniel, John, and Harold Neal. Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 10:00 am until funeral services begin at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Briar Patch Cemetery, Loranger, Louisiana.
