GOVERNALE, JOSEPHINE RIBANDO
Josephine Ribando Governale, 81 years old of Tickfaw, La., passed away, 
August 1, 2012. Born, November 23, 1930, in Independence, Louisiana, 
daughter of the late Tom Ribando and the late Rosa Arnone Ribando.
Surviving are son & daughter-in-law, Angelo "Jr." and Connie Governale Jr., 
daughter and partner, Rosemary Governale and Rhonda Drury, brother & 
sister-in-law, Joe and Bena Ribando, sister, Rosalie Ribando, grandchildren, 
Angelo and Jamie Governale III, John T. Governale, Lorraine 
Desporte, Michael and Alena Governale, Ashley and Brittany Drury and 
Destiny Dore, 10 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by husband, 
Angelo R. Governale Sr., great-grandchild, Joycie Driggers, brothers, Dr. 
Russell T. Ribando and Dr. Guy Ribando.  Friends will be received Friday, 
August 3, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral 
Home. Visitation will resume on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 8:00 am until 
service begins at 11:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
Services will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Saturday, 
August 4, 2012 at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow in the Pompeii Cemetery

GOVERNALE, VIRGINIA MUSACCHIA "JEAN"
Retired from the Tangipahoa Parish School Board, having worked at Nesom
Middle School, she died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at North Oaks Medical
Center, Hammond. She was 68, a resident and native of Tickfaw. Visiting at
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Thursday, with a 7 p.m. vigil service, and from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Friday.
Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church at 10 a.m.
Friday. Interment in Tickfaw Catholic Cemetery. Survived by her husband,
John Governale Jr., Tickfaw; two daughters, Sharon Governale McDowell,
Tickfaw, and Sandra Governale Bernard, Tickfaw; a sister, Frances Musacchia
Banks, Tickfaw; a brother, Anthony Musacchia, Tickfaw; two grandchildren,
Heather McDowell and Joshua Bernard; a stepgrandson, Arthur E. Bernard III;
and two stepgreat-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Anthony
and Angelina Macaluso Musacchia.
