A native of Kentwood, he is survived by his wife, Marthetta Hart of Hammond; three daughters, Betty Moore and Joyce Womack, both of Baton Rouge, and Sonja Cook of Albany; four sons, Isaiah Grady of Hammond, Charles Grady of Baton Rouge, Carlos Abram of Monroe, and Michael Grady of Japan; two sisters, Margaret Montgomery and Clara Peters of Hammond; and 20 grandchildren and 17-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister. Burial was today at Spring Creek Cemetery, Kentwood. Born June 23, 1924, in Amite, Louisiana, to Basil Earl and Clotilde Marie (Stanfill) Hendry, she was raised in Baton Rouge and attended LSU. She married the love of her life Guido in 1945. She is survived by sisters: Pat Jacob and Tickie Guidry of Baton Rouge, son Mike Grady, daughters Patty Doublin, Maureen Bolton, Peggy Grady and Terry Wren, three sons-in-law, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Lynette was preceded in death by her husband Guido O. Grady and brothers Clovis, Daryl (Deb) and James (Buddy) Hendry.
