She was 79 and a native of Guatemala City. Private memorial services were held Sunday in Amite. Survived by her husband, Pincus J. Granat, Amite; a daughter, Betty R. Harvey, Amite; three sons, Robert J. Granat, Bakersfield, Calif., Jan F. Granat, Amite, and Pincus J. "Sonny" Granat Jr., Metairie; a brother, John Blancaneaux, Westwego; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great- grandson. Preceded in death by her parents, Francis Joseph and Elsie Louise Sheran Blancaneaux; a sister, Lorna Lescale; and two infant sons. JR. Metairie - A memorial service for Robert J. Granat Jr., 39, will be held Sunday. He died Sunday, July 20, 2003, in Metairie. He was a native of Metairie and worked in construction. He is survived by one son, Robert J. Granat III; one daughter, Erica Granat; his parents, Robert Granat Sr. and Carol H. Granat; and two brothers, Brett and Joshua Granat.
