GRAND, AUGUSTA MURRAY 

Funeral services for Augusta Murray Grand, 70, were at 1 p.m. Monday, March 22, 
from Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Homes. Burial was in Wetmore Cemeetery.  Mrs. 
Grand died Friday, March 19, in North Oaks Medical Center.  She was a Ponchatoula 
native and a former resident of New Orleans.  Survivors are three daughters, 
Elizabeth "Liz" Vidal of Marrero, Donna Amato of Carlisle, Pa., and Susan Grand 
of Chapel Hill, N.C.; one son, David W. Grand of New Orleans; two brothers, Hugh 
Murray of New Orleans and Edward Murray of Ponchtoula; two sisters, Tessa 
Stroecker of Springfield and Lila "Bobbie" Rose of Ponchatoula; five grand-
children and two great-grandchildren.
