She was born in Hammond on Oct. 26, 1907, to Vito Cali, a native of Villafrati, Sicily, and Marie Lopresto Cali, a native of Santo Stefano di Quisquina, Sicily. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Mary Ann Agnes Cali and Josephine Rose Cali; and brothers, Frank Cali and Anthony Cali, who were all of Hammond. Surviving her are sisters, Vita Cali Colona and Mamie Cali Lala, both of Hammond, and Frances Cali Ross of Birmingham, Ala. She was a homemaker, the founder of Greco's Grocery in Tickfaw and a Pink Lady volunteer at North Oaks General Hospital for 13 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Joe Victor Greco, former mayor of Tickfaw; and her son Dr. John Christopher Greco, and his wife, Dorothy Bush Greco. She is survived by her sons, Joe Greco, Baton Rouge mayor pro tempore and his wife, Joan Reaves Greco, and Cyrus John Greco and his wife, Leu Anne Lester Greco, all of Baton Rouge; and daughter, Carmella Greco Fekete and her husband, Julius P. Fekete, of Tickfaw. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, on Monday, Nov. 28, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Tickfaw, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29. ***************************************************************************
