GREENFIELD, MARTIN EARL
A loving father and grandfather and retired longtime Ethyl Corp. employee,
he died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, in Baton Rouge. He was 83 and a resident of
Baton Rouge. He was a graduate of Loranger High School, a U.S. Army veteran
of World War II, having served in the South Pacific, and a longtime member
of Foster Road Baptist Church and the Joy Club. Visitation at Rabenhorst
Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and
after 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at
10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Huey Moak. Interment in Greenoaks
Memorial Park. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol
Greenfield Barnes and Walton Barnes II; a son and daughter-in-law, Darryl 
and Nancy Greenfield; two granddaughters, Helene Barnes and Megan
Greenfield; and other beloved relatives, Carol Drusch, Greg Drusch and Roy
Stephenson.

Van Greenfield, negro, 74, died Thursday, in Hammond.  Interment will be
Sunday.  Leaves one son.
