He was 83 and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a graduate of Loranger High School, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific, and a longtime member of Foster Road Baptist Church and the Joy Club. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Huey Moak. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
