GREENHAW, MARY RITA LONERGAN
Ponchatoula - Mary Rita Lonergan Greenhaw, 83, died Thursday, April 10,
2003, at her home.  She was a native of New Orleans.  She was preceded in
death by her son, John Sterling Greenhaw of Dallas; four daughters, Linda
Gore of Ponchatoula, Rosie Kennedy of New Orleans, Barbara Ward of Ardmore,
Tenn., and Gloria Elliot of Springfield; one sister, Kathleen Amedeo of
Slidell; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded
in death by her husband, Sterling Brazziel Greenhaw; her parents, Joseph
and Frances Dillmann Lonergan; two infant children; five brothers, Bill,
Lloyd, Borgia, Raymond and Dennis Lonergan; and one sister, Anna Mae L.
Greathouse.  Visitation will be Sunday at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral
Home, Ponchatoula, from 7 to 10 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until Warren
Fortenberry conducts the funeral at 10:30.  Burial will be in Sand Hill
Cemetery.
