GRIGGS, GLORIA PITTMAN
Ponchatoula - Gloria Pittman Griggs, 77, died Monday, July 7, 2003, at her 
home. Survivors include two sons, Joseph "Jay" Miles Griggs III and Mark
McCloud Griggs, both of Ponchatoula; and three grandchildren.  She was
preceded in death by her parents, Clarence McCloud and May McManus Pittman;
her husband, Joseph Miles Griggs Jr.; and one sister, Eloine Markwell.
Visitation will be Friday at First United Methodist Church, Ponchatoula,
from 2 p.m. until the Rev. Ricky Willis conducts the funeral at 3. Burial
will be in Ponchatoula Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to the Ponchatoula Library.  Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, is
in charge.
