BUFORD BALDINI Dolores was born in Baton Rouge on Aug. 26, 1928, and died Monday, April 13, 2009, in Ponchatoula. Dolores will be remembered by her children, Dona Camacho, Kathy Stafford and Randy Baldini, with a memorial service on Saturday, June 6, at her old home at 12032 Wickwood Ave., from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Please come and share your best story about Dolores. Dolores was a tenderhearted woman who at the age of 7 dreamed of being a nurse. Her dream was interrupted soon after entering the Baton Rouge General Nursing program with her marriage to Lloyd Baldini. After her children were in elementary school, she was accepted into the nursing program at Medical College (University) of South Carolina. In 1961, at the age of 33, with a husband and three children, she realized her dream and graduated at the top of her class. She was a compassionate and gifted professional whose career included one-on-one patient care as well as supervising and administrative positions at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Dixon Memorial Hospital and East Baton Rouge Parish. Please call Randy Baldini at (985) 386-3903 or (985) 320-5268 for more information, directions, comments etc. *************************************************************************** File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/la/tangipahoa/obits/obitssur/grimes.txt
