GRIMMER, JOHN EDWARD JR.
Denham Springs - John Edward "Jerry" Grimmer Jr., 65, died Tuesday, Dec.
17, 2002, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was retired from Dow Chemical
and served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann
Szanyi Grimmer of Denham Springs; a son, Richard Johnson of Geismar; three
daughters, Teri Lynn Grimmer Lavergne of Walker, Andrea Sue Johnson
Montgomery of Slidell and Sonya Johnson Giacone of Denham Springs; two
brothers, William Harvey Grimmer of Simmsport and Donald R. Grimmer of
Livonia; three sisters, Colleen Smith of Livonia, Mary Evelyn Domma of
Baton Rouge, and Mona Rae Petronelli of Baker, Texas; and 11 grandchildren. 
His parents, John Edward Sr. and Mary Evelyn Delatte Grimmer, preceded him
in death. Visitation will be at Geisler Funeral Home, Albany, tonight from
6 to 9 and Friday from 10 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. The funeral will be Friday
at 2 p.m. at Hungarian Presbyterian Church, Albany. Burial will be in the
church cemetery.
