She was a native of New Orleans, a graduate of McDonogh High School and a member of Our Lady of Divine Providence and helped serve as a volunteer in the cafeteria for nine years. She retired from Destrehan Drugs and became a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Ralph D. Guillot of Ponchatoula and one daughter, Judy Booker; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Dave Guillot; two sisters, Sophie Brindell and Eva Bonfanti; and three brothers, Harold Guillot, Leonard Guillot and Earl Guillot. Visitation will be Monday at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, Metairie, from 9 a.m. until Mass at 11. Burial will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Destrehan. The director of distance learning at Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond, he died at 8:20 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. He was 60, a resident of Hammond and a native of Port Allen. He was a retired major with the U.S. Air Force, having served from 1965 to 1985. He served two tours in Vietnam and also received the Silver Star. He also received the Distinguished Flying Cross and three awards of the Air Medal for his achievements as an F-111 fighter-bomber weapons systems officer in Southeast Asia. He had a total of 15 Air Medals. Visiting at West Baton Rouge Presbyterian Church, 640 Florida Ave., Port Allen, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday.
