She was 97. Visitation at Immanuel Baptist Church, Hammond, from 9 a.m. Friday until religious services at 10:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Lonnie Wascom. Interment in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Pineville. Survived by a brother, T.H. "Muddy" Waters, Athens, Ga.; and nieces and nephews, James and Sidney Ann Waters, Athens, T.H. "Ted" and Gail Waters, St. Joseph, Carl Waters, Lawrenceville, Ga., Roy and Marleen Waters, Ruston, Jean Bunce, Norwalk, Conn., Cindy and Gary Albright, Jonesboro, Ark., and Dina Waters, Australia. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Gunn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund, 1503 Pecan St., Hammond, LA 70401.
