HAIRSTON, PAIGE VICKNAIR
Mrs. Paige Vicknair Hairston, 41 and a resident of Hammond, died Thursday,
May 15, 2008, at her residence. She was born Saturday, Sept. 10, 1966, in
Hammond, daughter of Wayne and Dorothy Parish Vicknair. Surviving are her
husband, William "Bill" Hairston; parents, Wayne and Dorothy Parish
Vicknair; sister and brother-in-law, Vikki and Tommy Chauvin; brother and
sister-in-law, Parish and Julie Vicknair; brother, Dwayne Vicknair; eight
nieces and nephews; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pat and John Rountree;
and father-in-law, Bill Johnson. She was preceded in death by her
grandparents, Elma and Noe T. Vicknair Sr. and M.M. "Bugga Red" and
Elizabeth Parish. Friends will be received Monday, May 19, from 8:30 a.m.
until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church
in Hammond. Interment will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens in
