HALL-THOMAS, GAIL
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the 
faith; Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which 
the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me 
only, but also unto all them that love his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7. On 
May 22, 2013, the clarion call of God dispatched from the celestial shores 
of Heaven and was heard by Mrs. Gail Hall-Thomas, who in response to the 
call, transitioned from labor to reward at the age of 53 years old. Gail 
was born on November 13, 1959 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Mary 
Rebecca Addison and Eual ""Buster"" Hall. She completed her elementary and 
secondary education in the St. Helena Parish School System, Greensburg, 
Louisiana. Later, she moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and joined Rose of 
Sharon Baptist Church and was baptized by Reverend Stanley Plain. Funeral 
Services will be held at the Rose of Sharon Baptist Church, 312 Old Rafe 
Meyer Road, Alsen, LA, on Saturday, June 1 at 1:00 p.m.; Reverend Stanley 
Plain, officiating. MJR Funeral Home of Denham Springs in charge. She 
leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband, John; Baton Rouge, 
LA, 3 daughters, Sharhonda Hall (Derrick), Quionna Hall-Chaney (Gerald 
Wayne), Sonyonna Hall and La'Bertha Hall (Michael), Baton Rouge, LA, 8 
sisters, Lola Addison-Palmer, Greensburg, LA; Valeria Kendrick, Marilyn 
Kendrick and Vanessa Kendrick, New Orleans, LA; Karen Chaney, Erica Chaney, 
Euralvetta Chaney, Greensburg, LA and Rose Brooks, Baton Rouge, LA; 3 
brothers, Stephone Hall, Carl Edward Robinson, Baton Rouge, LA, and 
Gabrielle Kendrick, New Orleans, LA; 1 sister-in-law, Renetha S. Robinson, 
Baton Rouge, LA; 10 grandchildren, Turon LeDuff, Keontry Jones, Ta'Koshiey 
Hall, T'Astien Hall, Kyra Whitener, La'Queria Hall, Derrick Lewis, Jr., 
Quindell Ogbun, MiKayla Cage and Michael Cage, Jr., Baton Rouge, LA.; 1 
great-granddaughter, Alajah Spikes, Baton Rouge, LA; 3 step-sons, John 
Benjamin Jackson, Marcus Turner and Johnathan Profit, Baton Rouge, LA; 1 
step-daughter, Chasity D'Andrade, Baton Rouge, LA, 1 God-daughter, Sheila 
Blakes, Baton Rouge, LA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary 
Rebecca Addison, and father, Eual ""Buster"" Hall, 2 brothers, Tony 
Robinson and Ronald Kendrick, Maternal grandmother; Adell Addison, paternal 
grandmother, Bertha Hall, a granddaughter, LaMicah Cage and a nephew, 
Cedrick Addison.
