HAMMACK, CATHERINE NOELIE 
Catherine Noelie Hammack, 81 years old of Ponchatoula, LA, died Saturday, 
November 8, 2008 at her residence.  Noelie was born on Wednesday, January 
12, 1927 in Ponchatoula. She retired as an intake clerk for State of 
Louisiana.  Surviving are 9 nieces and 6 nephews.  She is preceded in 
death by parents, William Cooper and Elizabeth Davies Cooper; husband, 
Andrew Hammack; sisters, Stella Delatte and Ann Stanga; brothers, Chester, 
Stafford, Albert and Davies Cooper.  Friends will be received Wednesday, 
November 12, 2008, at the Cooper Cemetery from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. 
Services will be held at Cooper Cemetery, Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 
12:00 p.m. with interment to follow.  An on-line Guestbook is available

HAMMACK, DOLORES E.
Mrs. Dolores E. Hammack of Monroe, long time resident of Leesville, and 
native of Ponchatoula, died Thursday, September 17, at St. Francis Medical 
Center in Monroe. She was 84. She was a lifelong housewife and mother. She 
was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Robert D. Hammack Sr.  She 
is survived by her sons, Robert (Bob) Hammack of Monroe and William (Bill) 
Hammack of New Orleans and their wives, Kathy and Janice. Additional 
survivors include five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In 
addition, there are numerous "adopted" sons, daughters, grandchildren and 
great grandchildren that meant so much to her during her life.  Visitation 
will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Labby Funeral Home in Leesville. 
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Bible Church in Leesville with 
internment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

HAMMACK, DONALD
Memphis, Tenn. - Donald "Don" Hammack, 52, died Monday, May 26, 2003, at
Med Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., as a result of a vehicle accident. He was a
member of Delta Pioneers and employed by Delta Airlines.  He is survived by
his wife, Juanita Butler Hammack; a son, Andrew James Hammack; and sisters,
Roseanne H. Porta and Elizabeth H. Hahn.  He was preceded in death by his
parents, Andrew C. Hammack and Mamie Spano.  Visitation will be Friday at
Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, Metairie, from 6 to 10 p.m., and
Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

HAMMACK, MABEL CLAIRE STOCKMAN
Ponchatoula - Mabel Claire Stockman Hammack, 96, a native of Mobile, Ala.,
died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. She was
a bookkeeper and a charter member and former secretary of French Corner 
Baptist Church, Ponchatoula. She is survived by two grandsons, four great-
grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by
her husband, John Robert "PaPa John" Hammack; and one son, Robert "Bob"
Hammack. Visitation will be at French Corner Baptist Church, Ponchatoula,
today from 6 to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. until the funeral at 10.
The Rev. Charles Bigner will conduct the service, and burial will be in
Mitchell Cemetery, Ponchatoula. Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home,
Ponchatoula, is in charge.
