Noelie was born on Wednesday, January 12, 1927 in Ponchatoula. She retired as an intake clerk for State of Louisiana. Surviving are 9 nieces and 6 nephews. She is preceded in death by parents, William Cooper and Elizabeth Davies Cooper; husband, Andrew Hammack; sisters, Stella Delatte and Ann Stanga; brothers, Chester, Stafford, Albert and Davies Cooper. Mrs. Dolores E. Hammack of Monroe, long time resident of Leesville, and native of Ponchatoula, died Thursday, September 17, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She was 84. She was a lifelong housewife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Robert D. Hammack Sr. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Bob) Hammack of Monroe and William (Bill) Hammack of New Orleans and their wives, Kathy and Janice. Additional survivors include five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition, there are numerous "adopted" sons, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren that meant so much to her during her life. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Labby Funeral Home in Leesville. She is survived by two grandsons, four great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
