She was 51, a native of Independence and a resident of Denham Springs. Wake service at Miller & Daughter Mortuary, Zachary, on Friday, Dec. 19, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 p.m. until religious service at 3 p.m., conducted by Sister Mary Williams. Interment in Beachridge Cemetery, Denham Springs. Survived by her mother and stepfather, Beatrice and Charlie Partin, Wakefield; daughter, Joyce Ann Edwards and fiancé Robby Elofson, Denham Springs; two sons, Leonard Edward Edwards and John Robert Edwards, both of Denham Springs; two sisters, Violet Hanner, Denham Springs, and Yvonne Neal and husband Wally, Wakefield; brother, Raymond Hanner and wife Dora, Denham Springs; four grandchildren, Jonathon Jade Edward Dang and Bryson Cole Edwards, both of Denham Springs, and Abby and Madaline Edwards, both of Baton Rouge; a stepsister, Mzxine Wall, Brookhaven, Miss.; three stepbrothers, David Partin and wife Wanda, Holden, Chubby R. Partin and wife Nellie, St. Francisville, and Mervin Partin and friend Ken; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friend, Dung Dang, Denham Springs.
