Claude R. Hano, age 91, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, in San Antonio. He was born Feb. 16, 1915, to Alfred and Edna Baham Hano in Amite and was a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Claude proudly served with the U.S. Marine Corps aboard the USS Ranger during World War II. Aside from serving as a Baptist deacon, Claude worked in the Exxon research labs and retired as a research chemist. He will greatly be missed by all who loved and knew him.
