She was 89, born Dec. 18, 1914, in Buras. Visitation at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Tickfaw, from 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 15, until service at 1 p.m. Interment in Tickfaw Catholic Cemetery, Tickfaw. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Sylvester, Elm Grove, Peggy Hanson, Hammond, and Jeanette Marallo, Arabi; son, Clyde Hanson, Kenner; two sisters, Angela Travis, San Antonio, and Mary Moreau, Arabi; 11 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mary Brown Rodi; husband, Raymond Hunter Hanson; and three sisters, Nola, Alice and Rose.
