HARGROVE, JOHN L., II
A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Plattenburg, he died at 4:35 p.m.
Friday, June 27, 2008, at his home. He was 66. Visiting with the family at
Miller & Daughter Mortuary, Zachary, on Monday, June 30, from 6 p.m. to 
8 p.m. Religious service at New St. Luke Baptist Church, Solitude, on
Tuesday, July 1, at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. John C. Miller Jr.
Interment in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 39 years,
Dorothy J. Hargrove, of Baton Rouge; five children, Migel M. Hargrove and
wife Angela, John L. Hargrove III and Darrick Bailey and wife Robin, all of
Baton Rouge, Denise Sterling, of Independence and Barbara Sterling, of St.
Francisville; a brother, the Rev. Leon Hargrove, of St. Francisville; 17
grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and
friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
