A resident and native of Hammond, he died Sunday, June 3, 2001, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 59. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from noon until religious services in the chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Survived by his wife, Ruth Grisham Hariford, Hammond; two sons, Clyde Hariford Jr., Baton Rouge, and John Hariford, Port Allen; two daughters, Donna H. Harris, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Elizabeth H. Callaghan, Port Allen; a stepson, Kenneth Grisham, Hammond; three step- daughters, Lisa Rivers and Tammy Mayers, both of Tickfaw, and Sheila Grisham, Hammond; 21 grandchildren; two brothers, James Hariford, Baker, and Alex Hariford, Alexandria; and three sisters, Mae Carter, Cottonport, Faye Savage, Plaucheville, and Laura Renfro, Cottonport. Preceded in death by his parents, Hillary and Mamie Ducale Hariford; a grandson, Chance Michael Harris; a sister, Doris Carter; and a daughter-in-law, Nancy Hariford. ***************************************************************************
