He is survived by three sisters, Brenda Harrison of Independence, Melinda Johnson of New Orleans and Chantell Pound of Kenner; one brother, Bryant Harrison of New Orleans; his mother, Helen Harrison of Independence; and his father, Alton Harrison Jr. of Independence. "BENNY" Benjamin D. "Benny" Harrison Sr. was 68 years old, and a resident of Ponchatoula. He passed away in North Oaks Medical Center on April 14, 2008. He was born September 6, 1939 in New Orleans. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Dorothy Navo Harrison, and his sister, Loraine Pentas.
