She was 78. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, from 9 a.m. Saturday until religious service at 2 p.m. Interment in Bankston Cemetery. Survived by a son, Ted Hartley, Holden; two daughters, Pat Beard, Denham Springs, and Myra O'Neal, Rome; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed Fortune, Chattanooga, Tenn.; and a sister, Betty Jo Rapier, Chattanooga. Preceded in death by her husband, James Hartley; two sons, Jimmy Hartley and Mike Hartley; two daughters, Patsy Williams and Martha Rales; a grandson; parents, Columbus and Sally Mae Fortune; and a brother, Kenneth Nolan Fortune. ***************************************************************************
