HAUPERS, WILLIAM SMITH
Chicago - William Smith Haupers, 74, died in Chicago. He is survived by his
wife, Vita Gomilla Haupers; four sons, William Scott Haupers, Jon Stuart
Haupers, James Mitchell Haupers and Michael Smith Haupers; two daughters,
Hollis Ann Ortigoza and Susan Mary Sansweet; and six grandchildren, all of
the Chicago area. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a retired
sergeant in the Chicago Police Department. Visitation will be Friday from 
3 to 9 p.m. at Smith Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago.
Family and Friends will meet Saturday at St. Martha Church, 8523 Georgiana
Ave., Morton Grove, for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be at All Saints
Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Hepatitis Research Foundation, 533
Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. 12601.
