HAYDEL, JAMES AUGUSTIN JR.
A resident of Ponchatoula, he died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at Landmark 
Living Center, Hammond. He was 89 and a native of LaPlace. He was a U.S.
Army veteran of World War II. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral
Home, Ponchatoula, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday. Religious services
at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula, at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by
a Dominican priest. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by his
wife, Rita Kugler Haydel, Ponchatoula; two daughters, Judith Haydel
Guillaume, Baker, and Kathleen Haydel Pellichino, Hammond; a son, James A.
Haydel III, Ponchatoula; a sister, Ida Methurne, Norco; 10 grandchildren;
and a great-grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Lavina
Roblieu Haydel Sr.; and three sisters, Marie Thibodeaux, Noelie Louque and
Alice Dupree.

HAYDEL, STEVEN ANTHONY   
A computer technician and resident of Walker, he died Thursday, May 22,
2003, at his residence. He was 31 and a native of New Orleans. Visiting at
Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from
9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment in Amite
City Memorial Park, Amite. Survived by his wife, Becki Bates Haydel,
Walker; a daughter, Emily; two sons, Devyn and Gage; father, Simon A.
Haydel Jr.; mother, Dolores Burnthorn Haydel; four sisters, Christina
Sattler, Jeanne Griffith, Jamie Collins and Angele DeRita. Preceded in
death by his paternal grandparents, Simon A. and Mary Lise Haydel Sr.; and
maternal grandparents, Earnest A. and Carrie Mae Burnthorn.
